Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee and my own, it is my great pleasure to invite you to The 26th International Meeting on Forensic Medicine Alpe – Adria – Pannonia, to be held in Pula, Croatia 30 May – 2 June 2018.
In the time of world upheavals, wars – old and new, and constant migrations, the pressure and need for definite identification of deceased as well as the living is growing. For this reason, the theme of our forthcoming Meeting is “Current practice of identification”. The main aim is to provide overview, new and relevant information and share experiences in the field of identification.
We address our special invitation to our colleagues, forensic odontologists, who are the integral part of the identification team, to participate in the discussion of this important topic.
We would also like to exchange views on the current position of Forensic Medicine in Europe, with special emphasis on the still emerging field of clinical forensic medicine – organizational issues, practice, implementation and benefits to health and legal systems in European countries.
We are proud that it is the fourth time that Croatia is hosting our Meeting. As always in our tradition, the Meeting will be an excellent opportunity for continuing education, enriching our knowledge and making connections and lasting friendships.
We look forward to seeing you at the Meeting for four enjoyable days of debate, discussion and collaboration.
Yours sincerely,
Professor Milovan Kubat
Head of the Organizing Committee
